CALLING ALL CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE OF Edinburgh
Today sees the launch of a bright and colourful Activity Poster which allows children and young people the opportunity to draw their ‘ideal play space' (with a competition prize of a digital camera for the best one), as well as encouraging them to give their views on play and play areas as part of the first ever national consultation on play.
This is backed up by a fun, interactive website which gives children the chance to design their own play space using playground favourites such as see-saws and round-a-bouts mixed with more modern structures such as wooden climbing walls.
