Cameron’s Minimum Alcohol price still in talks

The prime Minister David Cameron has pledged that he will
put a stop to cheap alcohol being sold in supermarkets, but as of yet has not
commited to a minimum unit price for the policy. Cameron has recently told MP’s  that the government is still examining the
results of a consultation despite speculation that the move he had took hold of
was to be abandoned. The suggested base price was 45p per unit in England and
Wales from a number of different cabinet ministers. Ed Milliband joked about
the proposal: “Could the prime minister tell us, is there anything he could
organise in a brewery?”

A van driver in Bristol has been banned from driving for a year after driving erratically around the city and being spotted by the police. He wasn’t drunk or intoxicated in any way, but instead had been listening to Drum and Bass music and “got into the groove”.Police observed as he went through several red lights and turned a corner with such force that the van rocked on the chassis, at which point the Police pulled him over. Margaret Thatcher's Death Switches up UK Music Charts

Margaret Thatcher’s Death is set to put The Wizard of Oz music track “Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead” to the top of the UK charts. A number of online petitions and groups which were set up a few years back to get the song to number 1 upon the former prime minister’s death; one Facebook group already had 664 members before her passing and was set up back in July 2007. In addition to this another song has hit the iTunes chart attacking Thatcher, “Tramp The Dirt Down” by Elvis Costello, which is 79th on the chart at the time of writing. Man found dead in London actually fell from the sky

The body of a young man was found on a pavement in west London on 9th September last year. Josė Matada died on his 26th Birthday with £1 in his pocket. He had originally come from Mozambique and had also had Botswana currency on his person. He was found at 7.45am just as the BA76 flight from Luanda had passed overhead.Matada had stowed away on the plane and most likely died from lack of oxygen or frostbite, as he had been in the undercarriage with the landing gear, and apparently fell out as the undercarriage had opened to prepare for landing. Actor William Roache has been arrested this morning at his home in Wimslow, Cheshire, for allegedly raping a 15 year old girl from Lancashire. Roache, who has spent the last 53 years playing Ken Barlow on Coronation Street supposedly raped the girl between April and July 1967. Roache recently made his opinions clear on cases such as Jimmy Savile’s Sex abuse alegations, claiming that the victims are being punished for what they have done in their previous lives, but also commented “Paedophilia is absolutely horrendous. Yorkshire Police are currently on the lookout for a woman Dressed like the Incredible Hulk after a 17 year old girl was assaulted and left with a bruised face and black eye outside a McDonald’s restaurant.The Incident happened on Black Street at around 3am on April 26, and the woman suspected of the assault was covered in Green Body Paint and had dyed Red Hair.
