A 4 hour coach trip to tour the congested M25 has been a surprise hit.
The tour of the 117 mile motorway was organised by The Brighton and Hove Bus & Coach Company and completely sold out in a matter of days, due to its popular success more tour dates have been scheduled and will soon be open for booking.
The £15/head trip begins at J7 and includes sights such as The Lakeside Shopping Centre, Heathrow Airport (T5) and The Dartford Crossing Bridge.
Simon Ashcroft, the organiser said that the plan was orginally intended as a publicity stunt to showcase the companys more conventional outings but it proved to be a hit success.
"We've got the anoraks, of course, and we've got people who like coaches. We've got lots of ladies booking on, which has surprised me. I am going to ask them why they are interested," Mr Ashcroft commented.
"It is a unique idea. People used to travel around the M25 when it was first built 26 years ago, but interest dropped off."
"I think it is worth looking at a bit more in depth, especially as now there are new services being built at Cobham, which is something new to see. We have found out some amazing facts."
